Transfer gossip: Routledge keen on QPR return, Sun on Sunday say

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving the area’s clubs…

Wayne Routledge is a keen to return to QPR on loan, The Sun say.

The 33-year-old winger, who was sold by Rangers in 2010 and returned for a loan spell the following year, is out of favour at Swansea and potentially available for a loan move.

Meanwhile, the Sunday Express continue to link Eden Hazard, who was tipped to join Real Madrid this summer, with a move to the Spanish club.

Claiming an exclusive, the newspaper declare that Real are preparing £200m bid for the Chelsea star.

Hazard set up a goal for Pedro against Huddersfield

The transfer window in other parts of Europe remains open until the end of the month, meaning that in theory Hazard could still be sold to Real.

However, Chelsea would not be able to sign a replacement and Blues boss Maurizio Sarri insisted on Friday that it would be “impossible” for Hazard to leave this month.

Chelsea failed with a pre-deadline bid to land Atletico Madrid keeper Jan Oblak despite being willing to meet his £90m release clause, according to The Times.
