Transfer gossip: QPR linked with Portsmouth youngster

QPR are interested in Portsmouth youngster Dan Gifford, Hampshire Live reckon.

The 17-year-old forward has been on loan at non-League Bognor Regis Town.


It is claimed that the R’s, Norwich and Middlesbrough have been keeping tabs on him.


Paterson touted for move

QPR are interested in Swansea’s Jamie Paterson, Wales Online reports.

The 29-year-old, who can play as a winger or through the middle, has reportedly been training with Swansea’s youth team amid a stand-off over his contract. His deal at the Welsh club expires at the end of the season.

It is claimed that he is likely to leave and that there is interest from the R’s, Huddersfield and Blackburn.


Clubs linked with Dykes

Newcastle and Scottish champions Rangers are the latest clubs to be linked with QPR striker Lyndon Dykes.

It has been claimed that top-flight sides have been showing an interest in Dykes.

Burnley, Norwich and Crystal Palace are said to be monitoring him ahead of a possible move.

And Teamtalk now claim Newcastle and Rangers are keeping an eye on the Scotland international.

Sunderland and Wigan linked with Bonne

Sunderland and Wigan are interested in QPR striker Macauley Bonne, it is claimed.

Football Insider say both League One clubs are keen on Bonne, who is not in Rangers’ first-team plans.


Palmer link continues

QPR continue to be linked with Bristol City’s Kasey Palmer.

Rangers are not interested in the former Chelsea player but are being touted in various reports as favourites to sign him.


Dickie speculation

QPR defender Rob Dickie is again being touted for a potential move to the Premier League.

Dickie was linked with top-flight clubs prior to joining Rangers from Oxford United and during the summer transfer window.

And with the window now open again, he is once more said to be attracting interest.

The Athletic say a number of clubs are keen on Dickie and a ‘race’ to sign him is currently being led by West Ham and Leeds.

Southampton, Burnley and Wolves are also said to be showing an interest in the centre-back.

QPR have so far received so offers for Dickie and manager Mark Warburton has previously dismissed reports he could be sold.
