Chair plays in QPR Under-23 game

Ilias Chair featured for QPR’s development side on Monday afternoon along with on-loan duo Jan Mlakar – who went off injured – and Matt Smith.

Chair, who recently lost his first-team place, played an hour of the match at Rangers’ Harlington training ground, where the hosts beat Colchester 2-0.

Chair set up the opening goal for Mlakar but the on-loan Brighton striker was taken off shortly before half-time after picking up a heavy knock.

Midfielder Smith, on loan from Manchester City, doubled Rangers’ lead with 14 minutes remaining.

  • QPR winning a game?- blimey, whatever next.
The current rumour about MW deserves to be kicked into touch, he's been a breath of fresh air since day one. Just think how bad we were last season. Winning games regularly will take time given the size of the squad change. Just give the bloke some slack.
