El Khayati completes £350,000 QPR move

QPR have completed the £350,000 signing of Nasser El Khayati from Burton Albion.

The Dutch forward, who played under Rangers manager Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at Burton, has signed a two-and-a-half-year contract at Loftus Road.

West London Sport recently revealed that the Brewers had accepted an offer from Rangers and that he was undergoing medical after agreeing personal terms.

El Khayati, 26, was on PSV Eindhoven’s books as a youngster and played for FC Den Bosch and NAC Breda before a spell playing in Cyprus.

He moved to Burton from Dutch third-tier side Kozakken Boys a year ago and scored 11 goals in 44 appearances during his time with the East Midlands club.

Rangers have also been linked with Oxford United’s Kemar Roofe but are not looking to sign the midfielder.

Meanwhile, Rob Green is likely to join Crystal Palace if they sell Alex McCarthy to Fulham, while MK Dons want QPR’s Jay Emmanuel-Thomas on loan.
