Eze’s penalty earns QPR a point at Derby

Derby 1 QPR 1

Ebere Eze’s penalty just before half-time earned QPR a point at Pride Park.

Eze calmly netted from the spot after Bright Osayi-Samuel was fouled by Martyn Waghorn, who had put Derby ahead.

Rangers are now without a win in their past seven matches and are still yet to keep a clean sheet this season.

But they battled back well after falling behind midway through the first half and more than deserved a draw.

After Luke Amos’ careless foul on Jack Marriott near the edge of the penalty area, Waghorn found the top corner of the net with the resulting free-kick.

Rangers responded strongly and Derby keeper Ben Hamer pushed away shots from Ryan Manning and Jordan Hugill before the equaliser.

QPR: QPR: Lumley, Rangel, Leistner, Hall, Manning, Cameron, Amos (Scowen 71), Pugh (Wells 78), Eze, Osayi-Samuel, Hugill.
Subs not used: Barnes, Kane, Smith, Ball, Chair.

  • I would think that all the supporters who were dreaming of the Premiership next season have now realised ITS JUST NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.
Mid table for this season at best and then see what we can do during the following seasons, but this one is dead and buried (mistakes, mistakes, mistakes).
