QPR play out third consecutive away goalless draw

QPR 0QPR picked up a point in their third consecutive away goalless draw.
Rangers’ Joe Walsh was the busier keeper, producing a number of saves – the pick of the bunch being a stop with his legs to deny Conor Coady at point-blank range.
Former R’s strikers Lyndon Dykes and Charlie Kelman were up front for Charlton. Dykes had a couple of efforts on goal and was thwarted by Jimmy Dunne while trying to force in the loose ball after another Walsh save.
QPR had plenty of the ball in the second half but struggled to create clear-cut chances – until four came their way in stoppage time.
Steve Cook headed over from Nicolas Madsen’s scorner, substitute Rayan Kolli was unable to find a way past keeper Thomas Kaminski after being set up by Madsen, Dunne’s header was cleared off the line by Dykes, and Richard Kone’s glancing header from Kolli’s cross drifted wide.
The draw leaves them 10th in the table, three points from the play-off places ahead of the rest of the weekend’s Championship matches.
