George Groves will return to the ring next month to take on Italian Andrea Di Luisa.
The pair will meet at the Copper Box in London’s Olympic Park on 30 January.
It will be the Hammersmith man’s first fight since losing to Badou Jack in Las Vegas in September – Groves’ third attempt to capture a world title.
Di Luisa’s last outing was a win over Gabor Zsalek on Saturday, although in August he was stopped in the fourth round by Lucien Bute – the man recently beaten by Groves’ west London rival James DeGale.
The 33-year-old Italian has 18 wins and three losses, which include a defeat to Christopher Rebrasse, who Groves beat last year.
