Kebano strike earns dramatic Fulham win

Fulham 3 Wigan 2

Neeskens Kebano grabbed a dramatic stoppage-time winner as Fulham fought back from 2-1 down at Craven Cottage.

Floyd Ayite put the Cottagers ahead with a close-range strike, but Wigan led at the break thanks to a Scott Malone own goal and a simple Michael Jacobs strike.

But Fulham responded in fine style after the interval, with Denis Odoi’s stunning strike from distance bringing the score level and Kebano curling home the winner.

A home win looked likely against the lowly Latics when Ayite swept home his fifth goal of the season from Sone Aluko’s cross.

However, the match was turned on its head by the interval, with Malone’s unfortunate own goal from Stephen Warnock’s cross and a sliding effort from winger Jacobs making it 2-1.

Aluko almost made it 2-2 just before the hour, but his strike brushed off the bar, but the equaliser arrived when Odoi blasted the ball home from outside the area.

Both sides had chances to win it but it was Fulham who made the most of their opportunities when Kebano slotted home in injury time to move his side back to within six points of the play-off places.
