Fulham youngsters could feature in end-of-season games

Fulham will make use of fringe players and the best of their development squad during the final three games of the season as they plan for life after relegation.

Scott Parker revealed he needs to assess the future going into the Championship, and that means looking again at those short of game time as well as the likes of Fabio Carvalho and promising midfielder Sylvester Jasper.


The head coach said: “As much as we’ve got three games to consider, you’re looking ahead as well. There’s a definitely a balance in there.

“Maybe them players (under-23s) will come up with us. Fabio’s already with us and a couple of players will join as well.”

Fulham take on Southampton at St Mary’s on Saturday and Manchester United at Old Trafford on Tuesday night. They will end the season with a match against Newcastle.
