Transfer gossip: Fulham linked with Gayle

Fulham want Newcastle striker Dwight Gayle, the Daily Mail reports.

Gayle, who scored 24 goals while on loan at West Brom last season, has previously been a transfer target for the Whites.

And the Mail say boss Scott Parker is keen to take the former Crystal Palace man to Craven Cottage.

Stoke City are also said to be keen on Gayle, who has been tipped to leave Newcastle this summer.

The Mail reckon he would cost £10m and be looking to command wages in excess of £50,000 a week.

Sessegnon speculation

There continues to be speculation over the future of Fulham star Ryan Sessegnon.

The Sun declare that Tottenham and Manchester United “face a race against time” to sign him before he leaves for Italy.

It is claimed that Sessegnon, who has a year remaining on his contract, could wait until January and then discuss a move to Inter Milan.
