Bobb’s brilliant goal gives Fulham victory at Coventry

Oscar Bobb’s brilliant late goal made it back-to-back wins for Fulham.
Boss Alvaro Arbeloa seemed to be under serious pressure prior to last weekend’s much-needed win against Hull, but the picture looks much brighter for the Whites now.
Bobb produced sublime skill to embarrass Jack Rudoni on the right of the box and then sent a superb strike into the far corner of the net.
Fulham went close to scoring and might have had a penalty in the first half.
Josh King fired against the near post after being set up by Bobb, and Antonee Robinson had a chance to tee up Gonzalo Garcia but Coventry’s Milan van Ewijk was able to deflect the ball into the side netting.
And just before the interval, Calvin Bassey seemed to be pulled back by Brandon Thomas-Asante at a corner, but no penalty was awarded despite a VAR check.
Fulham: Leno, Castagne, Affengruber, Bassey, Robinson, Larsson (Berge 63) Charles, King (Cairney 81) Bobb (Tete 81) Gonzalo (Muniz 73), Iwobi (Palacios 73)
Subs not used: Lecomte, Andersen, Manuel Angel, Kevin.
