Another goal for Petric as Fulham win

Wycombe 0 Fulham 3

Summer signing Mladen Petric scored for the third consecutive game before late goals from Bryan Ruiz and Steve Sidwell rounded off a comfortable win for Fulham.

Croatian striker Petric curled home a shot from the edge of the penalty area to put them ahead in the 18th minute.

Buomesca Tue Ne Bangna had two chances to add to Fulham’s lead in the second half.

The youngster miscued following good work on the left by Petric and was denied by Nikki Bull after being put through by Ruiz’s lovely pass.

Ruiz, back from a foot injury, produced another moment of class midway through the half when Bull had to scramble to tip over the Costa Rican’s delicate chip.

Bull also kept out a long-range effort from Mahamadou Diarra, but Ruiz’s brilliant 30-yard free-kick gave the Wycombe keeper no chance.

And with three minutes remaining Sascha Rieher’s low cross ran to Sidwell, who netted at the far post.
