A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

With the transfer window now closed, there is much speculation over the future of John Terry following his recent announcement that he will leave Chelsea at the end of the season.

Gianfranco Zola has sounded Terry out about a move to Al Arabi, according to the Daily Mirror.

The Qatar club are managed by Chelsea legend Zola, who is apparently keen to sign Blues skipper Terry at the end of the season.

Zola is said to have held talks with Terry’s advisers and is confident he will persuade him to sign.

Terry has been at Chelsea since the age of 14

The Telegraph reports that Terry could earn £20m in just one season in China and that a move to the United States is also a definite possibility.

And The Times reports that Terry is resigned to leaving Stamford Bridge despite the club suggesting he could yet be given a new contract.

Also according to The Times, Terry does not want to join a European club because he would not want to play against Chelsea in Europe.
