Transfer gossip: QPR tipped for £1m move for France Under-21 striker

QPR are ready to spend £1m on Bordeaux’s France Under-21 international Enzo Crivelli, the Sunday People reports.

Crivelli, 20, is one of a number of forwards on the club’s radar as they look to add to their squad during the current transfer window.

And the People say Rangers are set to make a move to sign the player in the coming days.

Hull City want to sign Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford on loan, again according to the People.

West London Sport recently revealed that QPR had made an enquiry about the 22-year-old and were told he wants to join Premier League club. Norwich have since shown an interest in him.

Championship leaders Hull apparently want to snap up Bamford in order to boost their promotion challenge.

Bamford recently returned from a loan spell at Crystal Palace

Meanwhile, Chelsea want to sign Paris St-Germain centre-back Thiago Silva on loan, according to the Daily Star Sunday.

The Mail on Sunday say Chelsea will battle with Manchester City, Barcelona and Real Madrid for the £50m signing of Everton defender John Stones this summer.

And Brazilian forward Alex Teixeira, who is wanted by Liverpool and is also said to be a Chelsea target, has told Shakhtar Donetsk he wants a move.

He has been been quoted in the Brazilian media as saying: “I would like to move in this transfer window and have told them [Shakhtar] that.

“They have received a very good offer and they are working on a solution. But if I don’t go now then I will leave in the summer.

“It is my desire to move to a big league and I know that the English league is very strong. I am ready and I know that I will grow up a lot there.

“I am aware that two big clubs such as Liverpool and Chelsea are interested but I haven’t given my word to either of them.

““I am not ruling out other leagues but I do want to play in the Premier League. In my mind, it is the strongest in the world. I want a challenge and to further my career there.”
