Transfer gossip: Chelsea tracking Millwall defender, Sun say

A round-up of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Millwall defender Christian Mbulu is on Chelsea’s radar, The Sun say.

The 19-year-old has impressed since being signed from non-League Brentwood Town last year and the Blues are said to be showing an interest.

Meanwhile, speculation continues over the future of goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, with the Daily Telegraph reporting that he is likely to leave Chelsea.

Everton and Norwich City are said to have shown an interest in the 28-year-old, who was signed from Stoke last summer.

Begovic has been frozen out since Thibaut Courtois’ return from injury

Begovic deputised for Thibaut Courtois earlier in the season but has been out of the picture since the Belgian’s return from a knee injury.

With Antonio Conte widely reported to be in the frame to take over as Chelsea boss, the Telegraph also believe the Italy coach has identified Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan as a potential signing.

The newspaper also believe Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone, who has been linked with the Chelsea job, plans to stay put and wants to re-sign Blues striker Diego Costa for the Spanish club.

Costa continues to be linked with a return to Spain

Metro say the arrival of Nainggolan could mean John Mikel Obi leaves Stamford Bridge.

And Italian media reports continue to suggest that Chelsea are interested in Juventus’ former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
