The smart money is on more misery for Spurs against Chelsea

Chelsea have beaten Tottenham in the Premier League more than they have beaten any other team.

And the Blues are odds-on at 8/11 to make it 26 PL victories against their London rivals and end Spurs’ unbeaten record in the league this season.

A Tottenham victory at Stamford Bridge is 17/4, while the draw is priced at 14/5.

Spurs had nine players yellow-carded when their lingering Premier League hopes went up in smoke in the corresponding game last season and now they face a Chelsea side that is oozing confidence at the moment.

Chelsea to win to nil is 21/10 and it might be worth noting that they have only allowed their opponents a total of two shots on target in their last three games.

Writing in his exclusive BetVictor column, former England international Michael Owen says he believes referee Michael Oliver is in for a busy night at the Bridge.

After last season’s bad-tempered affair there could be some bad blood lingering between the sides and BetVictor bet 5/2 there is a red card in this one.

Incidentally, leaders Chelsea are now 9/4 second favourites for the Premier League title with BetVictor.

The Blues were 16/1 for the title after home defeat to Liverpool earlier in the season but their excellent recent run has seen their odds plummet.
