Agent expects Holtby to move, QPR linked with Marseille defender

Lewis Holtby’s agent Marcus Noack has predicted that the Tottenham midfielder will leave White Hart Lane on loan this week.

Fulham have been linked with the player, with Stoke and German clubs Schalke and Borussia Dortmund also reported to be interested.

Noack is quoted as saying: “My feeling is he will leave but it’s not in our hands at the moment.

Berbatov is being linked with a move.

“Tottenham have to agree to let him go first. We hope to find a solution in the next couple of days.”

Fulham’s ex-Spurs striker Dimitar Berbatov is being linked with a return to the north London club as part of a possible deal involving Holtby.

Paris St-Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has played down reports linking his club with a move for Eden Hazard.

PSG have been tipped to table a huge bid for the Chelsea playmaker in the summer.

But Al-Khelaifi told French newspaper L’Equipe: “In 2012 we had the opportunity to recruit him but did not. He looks happy at Chelsea.”

The Express say Chelsea have pulled out of the race to sign Julian Draxler, having supposedly been interested in the Schalke youngster. Arsenal are expected to table a bid.

Meanwhile, Gremio have denied reports QPR’s Brazil goalkeeper Julio Cesar is set to return to the country to sign for them.

Sky say Watford are now in advanced talks to sign Samba Diakite on loan from the R’s.

And QPR want Marseille full-back Rod Fanni on loan, L’Equipe claim.
