Many QPR fans on Twitter have reacted with dismay to the news that Darnell Furlong has joined Cambridge United on a month’s loan.
The 20-year-old spent the first half of the season on loan at Northampton Town and some Rangers supporters were hoping the right-back would be given a chance at Loftus Road.

Have just read michal harriman has signed a three & half year deal with gareth ainsworths wanders it just madness. So we bring these youngsters to the club hone them for the first team and when they are good enothe sell them on total mindless madness very angry lifelong Qpr fan.

Totally gutted
Time after time we play and pay
Overpaid and overrated players either unfit uninterested or beyond their sell by date
All and any half decent youth or young players are farmed out on loan
Then the manager can spout of the same old ridiculous tripe we have to get this or that oap in as we have no cover due to injuries

Most of the current team are not playing in the right position
Why did we buy or pay wages to perch and kanceksky when we had furlong and the Asian Phillips is playing midfield should be on wing we had two strikers apart from Austin why buy polter
Furlin Henry and sandro should not be near playing for us they should be out on loan not the young and up and coming
Don’t forget warnock sold sterling had 2 games for rs so what did he know about reckonising a futer class player

Furlong had potential but was blooded 6 months to early. He should be playing for us now and getting solid championship experience. Harriman is a gem, and should be in our 1st team, as should Petrasso and Smithies. A couple more losses and we will be dragged into the relegation bracket i fear…

Totally unbelivable wtf is going at qpr ,players playing out of posions quality youngsters being loaned out when needed in first team so much for bringing the lads on from youth not happening .p*ss poor managment.breaks my hesrt whats happened at w12 since hughes gutted

Great that the fans are getting started. Furs and MH on loan at Wycombe are both more than capable and long overdue their chance in the position that is going to be given to the Italian veteran Motta. It’s the QPR we’ve seen over and over and over again in recent years. The manager should be told you have to play these players or get out. But the dreamworld continues…
