Arsenal and Spurs linked with Lukaku and QPR with West Ham’s Cole

Arsenal have been tipped to challenge Tottenham for the signing of Romelu Lukaku.

It is suggested in the Mail on Sunday that the Gunners and Spurs have both been sounded out about buying the Chelsea striker, who is currently on a season-long loan at Everton.

And it is claimed that the apparent interest in Lukaku could see his fee rise towards the £40m mark.

Meanwhile, David Luiz is again tipped to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with Barcelona and Bayern Munich said to be interested in the Brazilian.

It is also suggested in the Mail that QPR will target Joe Cole as well as Darren Bent if they win promotion back to the Premier League.

Bent, currently on loan at Fulham from Aston Villa, has previously been linked with a move the R’s, who tried to sign former Chelsea and England star Cole prior to his return to West Ham last year.
