A draw looks the safe bet when Derby take on the Bees

Brentford host Steve McClaren’s Derby County this weekend and don’t have a great record against the Rams over the years, having won only one of the last 10 meetings between the clubs.

Derby also have the best away record in the Championship, but I still fancy the Bees to get a point from what promises to be a cracking game.

Both teams to score might be the safe bet but that is only 13/20 and I fancy a 2-2 draw at Griffin Park, which is 14/1.

Fulham travel to Wigan and will leapfrog the Latics if they beat them.

Wigan haven’t won in the last 13 meetings between the clubs and surely the hosts are too short in the betting at 23/20 with the draw priced at 12/5 and Fulham a tempting 13/5 at BetVictor.

The Whites are now even-money to finish the campaign in the top half of the table and 11/2 to make the top six.

We still bet 10/1 for them to be promoted, but if they win this weekend that price could well change.

Be lucky.
