West Ham boss plays down Terry interest

West Ham boss Slaven Bilic has denied reports he is looking to sign John Terry this summer.

Bilic was linked with the former England captain after praising him when asked for his reaction to news that Terry will be leaving Chelsea at the end of the season.

“I said things about him not more than any manager that was asked about him as a player, as a leader, and his career. That’s all,” Bilic said on Thursday morning.

The likes of Bournemouth and West Brom have also been linked with Terry, who has been a Chelsea player for his entire career and made his senior debut for the Blues in 1998.
