Three young keepers included in Chelsea squad for Australia trip

Goalkeepers Marcin Bulka (pictured), Jared Thompson and Bradley Collins are among the youngsters included in Chelsea’s 25-man squad for the club’s pre-season trip to Australia.

Players involved in the recent World Cup have extra time off so are not in the squad, so the absence of Thibaut Courtois and Willy Caballero, who played for Belgium and Argentina respectively, means the three young keepers have been called up.

Ethan Ampadu, who impressed before an ankle injury brought an early end to the teenager’s season, is also in the squad, as is new signing Jorginho.

So too are Tomas Kalas and Lucas Piazon, who spent last season on loan at Fulham.

Chelsea will play Perth Glory in a friendly on Monday – their first match under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri.
