Warnock unhappy with Cardiff’s defending

Cardiff City boss Neil Warnock said their sloppy defending helped Chelsea to a resounding victory over the Welsh side at Stamford Bridge.

Eden Hazard netted a hat-trick and Willian scored with a stunning strike as the Blues came from behind to win 4-1.

Warnock was full of praise for Chelsea and the ”unplayable” Hazard.

But the former QPR boss was also disappointed with the manner of the Blues’ first goal, poor defending by Victor Camarasa in the build up to the second, and the foul by Sol Bamba on Willian which led to Hazard completing his hat-trick from the penalty spot.

“Again I’m disappointed with the goals conceded,” Warnock said.

“Not Chelsea’s ability. We should have won a challenge before the first goal and Victor’s got to learn as he could have got in front of Marcos Alonso and then they score a second goal.

“With the penalty, I knew it was going to be a penalty 15 yards before he tackled. Sol has got to learn that you can’t do that. We’ve got to be a bit cleverer.”
