More than 9,000 see Chelsea’s youngsters fight back against Norwich

Ola Aina and Charly Musonda scored as Chelsea’s youngsters drew 2-2 with Norwich in the Under-21 Premier League in front of a crowd of more than 9,000 at Carrow Road.

Conor McGrandles opened the scoring after being set up by Eliott Bennett and Aina equalised by applying the finishing touch after Musonda’s corner had been flicked on by John Swift.

The home side were back in front by half-time. Again Bennett was involved, delivering a free-kick into the box for Tony Andreu to head home.

But Chelsea hauled themselves level again when Musonda netted after combining nicely with Kasey Palmer.

The Blues’ Under-21s are next in action on 13 September when they face Manchester United at Aldershot’s Recreation Ground.
