Gossip: Bamford tipped to join Norwich, reports claim QPR had Crivelli approach rejected

Patrick Bamford is set to join Norwich City on loan for the rest of the season after being given the go-ahead by Chelsea, the Daily Mail say.

West London Sport recently revealed that QPR had made an approach for the 22-year-old and were told he was likely to join a Premier League club.

The Mail say Bamford is heading to Carrow Road and that Chinese club Jiangsu Suning, who recently signed Ramires, are interested in Chelsea’s on-loan Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.

The Daily Telegraph say Newcastle will make a bid for Chelsea striker Loic Remy if they are unable to land West Brom’s Saido Berahino.

The Daily Express reports that Chelsea are keen to tie up a deal to sign Uruguay defender Jose Gimenez, 21, from Atletico Madrid.

And QPR have had an approach for Bordeaux striker Enzo Crivelli turned down, French media reports claim.

The 20-year-old is one of a host of forwards Rangers have been made aware of during this month’s transfer window, but the Sunday People recently claimed the club were looking to sign him in a £1m deal.
