Chelsea thrash Huddersfield in Youth Cup

Dominic Solanke scored a hat-trick as holders Chelsea thrashed Huddersfield Town 6-1 in the FA Youth Cup.

The young Blues dominated the fourth-round tie at Aldershot, where Tammy Abraham headed them in front and then fired home from close range following a corner.

Abraham then turned provider to set up Solanke with a low cross and, after the visitors had pulled a goal back, good work by Jeremie Boga led to Solanke scoring his second before the break.

Solanke made it 5-1 with a shot from near the edge of the penalty area – his 20th goal of the season – and substitute Kasey Palmer rounded off an emphatic Chelsea win with a fine strike late on.
