Pedro will have a late fitness test on a groin injury before Chelsea decide whether he can feature against Manchester United.

The Spanish winger missed Tuesday’s goalless draw at Watford and is also a doubt for Sunday’s game at Stamford Bridge.

He has not completed 90 minutes since Chelsea’s trip to Old Trafford in December.

Boss Guus Hiddink said: “Pedro did good training this morning [Friday]. He was very alive but we’ll see how he reacts.”

Meanwhile, Loic Remy is expected to be be fit in time for Chelsea’s home match against Newcastle on 13 February and new signing Alexandre Pato has been placed on special training regime.
