Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea….

There continues to be speculation over the future of Chelsea star Willian.

His contract is due to expire at the end of the season and Chelsea have been negotiating a new deal with the Brazilian.

Barcelona were previously interested in Willian, who has always indicated that he wants to stay at Stamford Bridge.

The Daily Mirror claim Barca remain keen and that he is also wanted by Juventus’ former Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri, with both clubs potentially looking to sign Willian on a pre-contract agreement in January.

Speculation over Giroud’s future

Inter Milan’s former Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants to sign Olivier Giroud, the Daily Express say.

It comes amid speculation that Chelsea will listen to offers for the striker in January.

Giroud, whose contract is due to expire next summer, has been linked with several clubs and the Sunday Express recently claimed that Chelsea want £5m for him.

Burnley tipped to send back Drinkwater

Burnley have been tipped to send Danny Drinkwater back to Chelsea in January.

The Clarets have an option to extend Drinkwater’s loan spell at Turf Moor for the rest of the season.

However, he has failed to impress since his move and The Sun say Burnley are not planning to keep him.

Blues linked with Milinkovic-Savic

Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is the latest player to be touted as Frank Lampard’s priority signing if Chelsea’s transfer ban is lifted.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas) will on 20 November hear Chelsea’s appeal against the Fifa-imposed ban.

It could lead to the ban being lifted for the January transfer window, enabling Blues boss Lampard to make signings then rather than having to wait until the summer.

Chelsea have a wealth of midfield options, yet the Mirror claim Lampard wants to buy Serbia international Milinkovic-Savic, who is apparently rated at £70m.
