ESPN say the Blues and Manchester City are among clubs keen on Aouar, who has been tipped to leave Lyon this summer.
Liverpool have also been linked with the France Under-21 international, while reports in Italy have suggested that Juventus are interested.
Ben Chilwell is tempted by the prospect of a move to Chelsea but has not asked to leave Leicester, the Daily Mirror reports.
It follows reports the England international left-back had told Leicester he wants to leave the East Midlands club.
The Mirror say that is not the case but suggest Chilwell would be keen to move to Chelsea, who have long been linked with him.
The Athletic say Chelsea have made Chilwell one of their main transfer targets but that he could cost up to £85m.
Chelsea also continue to be linked with Jadon Sancho.
The England international has been tipped to move to the Premier League from Borussia Dortmund this summer.
Chelsea and Manchester United have been linked with Sancho, who was a Blues fan as a boy.
The Daily Mail have picked up on reports in Spain claiming that the two English clubs now face competition from Real Madrid, who are apparently also interested in him.
The Daily Express have again picked up on reports claiming that Chelsea will battle with Manchester City in a fight to sign Inter Milan youngster Lorenzo Pirola.
It comes after Serie B News claimed that Chelsea and City have both enquired about the defender.
Danilo Pantic is reportedly set to turn down the offer of a new deal at Chelsea and look to cut his ties with the club this summer.
The Express have picked up on reports in Pantic’s native Serbia claiming that Chelsea are ready to offer him a three-year extension even though he has not made a first-team appearance for them since being signed from Partizan in 2015.
He has been out on loan a number of times, most recently with Hungarian side Fehervar.
Serbian newspaper Telegraf have reported that Pantic, whose current Chelsea contract runs until 2021, is seeking a move back to Partizan.
