Transfer gossip: Chelsea won’t sell Loftus-Cheek, reports say

Ruben Loftus-Cheek has reportedly been assured by Chelsea he still has a future at the club.

Chelsea’s signing of Ross Barkley prompted speculation that Loftus-Cheek could be sold – perhaps to Crystal Palace, where he is on a season-long loan.

The Sun declare that Chelsea are not interested in selling the England midfielder despite interest from Palace boss Roy Hodgson in a deal.

The story is based on one earlier this week from the Evening Standard, while the Daily Mail has also previously reported that Loftus-Cheek has been told Barkley’s arrival does not affect the Chelsea youth product’s long-term future.


Telegraph reckon Chelsea are stalling over Sandro

There continues to be speculation over Alex Sandro.

The Daily Telegraph reckon Chelsea are stalling over a move for the Brazilian left-back because Juventus are demanding £60m for him.

According to the Telegraph, Manchester City and Manchester United are also interested. The newspaper say Blues boss Antonio Conte will be “dismayed” if Sandro joins a rival club. 

The Daily Mirror recently declared that Chelsea are ready to offer £50m and that Juve were willing to sell.

The Independent, on the other hand, has reported that the Turin club want to keep Sandro, who was also tipped to move to Chelsea last summer.


Hazard speculation

There also continues to be speculation over the future of Eden Hazard.

The Express, which has repeatedly linked Hazard with a move away from Chelsea, how say he will snub Real Madrid and sign a new contract.

Claiming an exclusive, the newspaper declare that Hazard is ready to sign a deal which will make him the highest-paid player in the Premier League.

However, The Express also pick up on a story by Spanish publication El Gol Digital claiming that three players are being eyed by Chelsea as possible replacements should Hazard leave for Real.

Those players are, apparently, Athletic Bilbao forward Inaki Williams, Villareal’s Manu Trigueros and Samuel Umtiti of Barcelona.

Bild say Blues want Thorgan Hazard back

Chelsea want to re-sign Thorgan Hazard, it is claimed.

German newspaper Bild claim the brother of Blues star Eden Hazard could be on his way back to Stamford Bridge from Borussia Mochengladbach, who signed him from Chelsea in 2015.

The Belgium international has impressed in the Bundesliga and a return to west London would see him reunited both with Eden and younger brother Kylian Hazard, who is also at Chelsea.


Chelsea linked with Carroll

The Mail say Chelsea have made an enquiry about taking Andy Carroll on loan from West Ham.

According to the Mail, Hammers boss David Moyes does not want to let the striker leave on loan.

Moyes insisted on Thursday that he knew nothing about Chelsea’s reported interest in Carroll.

Lokomotiv Moscow linked with Kenedy

Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow want to sign Kenedy on loan from Chelsea, according to reports in his native Brazil.

Newcastle are looking to sign Kenedy on loan, having almost agreed a deal for him during the summer transfer window.

But Brazilian outlet Globo Esporte claim Kenedy could instead join the Russian league leaders.
