Engman’s late goal rescues point for Chelsea Women

Adelina Engman’s last-minute goal rescued a point for Chelsea Women, who drew 1-1 at Brighton on Sunday afternoon.

Chelsea were below par and the home side looked set for victory when Danique Kerkdijk fired home with six minutes remaining.

But Engman, on as a substitute, equalised from close range after Millie Bright had knocked the ball down.

The draw leaves Chelsea with four points from their opening two WSL 1 matches of the season.
