Transfer gossip: Keepers linked amid speculation over Kepa’s future

Some of the latest transfer speculation involving Chelsea…

Chelsea continue to be linked with goalkeepers amid speculation over the future of Kepa Arrizabalaga.

The Daily Express have picked up on reports that Chelsea are interested in Lille’s Mike Maignan (pictured) and fellow Frenchman Alphonse Areola, who is on loan at Real Madrid from Paris St-Germai.

The Sun say Tottenham are also keen on Maignan, who has been touted as a possible replacement for Hugo Lloris.

Dean Henderson, currently on loan at Sheffield United from Manchester United, is also among the keepers Chelsea have been linked with.

The Express say Henderson has told United he will not wait long for first-team football amid apparent interest from the Blues.

As for Kepa, The Sun say Sevilla are lining up a loan move for the Spaniard, who has also recently been linked with Valencia.

The Daily Telegraph say any loan deal for Kepa would depend on Chelsea’s willingness to pay a chunk of his wages.
The Telegraph also say Chelsea plan to step up their apparent interest in Germany winger Kai Havertz, who continues to be linked with a possible move from Bayer Leverkusen.

And the Daily Mirror say West Ham boss David Moyes wants Chelsea midfielder Ross Barkley, who was linked with a loan move to the east London club in January.
