Lasse Vibe scored both Brentford’s goals in a classy victory at Carrow Road.
Ollie Watkins hit the post and had a header from Vibe’s cross brilliantly saved by Norwich keeper Angus Gunn before two goals in the space of five minutes late in the first half put the Bees in control.
Vibe twice fired home after collecting a pass from Romaine Sawyers, taking his goal tally to four in his last three matches.
Brentford were largely comfortable in the second half, although keeper Dan Bentley was called upon to save Timm Klose’s header from James Maddison’s cross.
The Canaries did get a goal back, in injury time, when Nelson Oliveira netted with a shot from near the edge of the penalty area.
