Reeves ready for ‘massive’ season

Brentford midfielder Jake Reeves says the coming season will be “massive” for both him and the club.

The 21-year-old made 25 appearances for the Bees last term as they won promotion to the Championship.

Now he is looking to cement his place in manager Mark Warbuton’s line-up.

“I try not to think about it too much, but this coming season is absolutely massive for me. It’s a massive for everyone at the club. ” he said.

“I’m 21 now and really I’ve got to be playing regularly. I’ve had a good pre-season this year and in the games I’ve played in I think I have done well.

“The training has been excellent since we’ve come back and  we are there or thereabouts where the gaffer wants us.

“Hopefully come the first game I’ll be involved – I’m confident in my own ability if I am.”
