Robins could recall teenage keeper ahead of Brentford match

Brentford’s next opponents, Bristol City, could recall teenage goalkeeper Max O’Leary from a loan spell to act as back-up to first-choice Richard O’Donnell.

Frank Fielding, who has been the understudy since O’Donnell’s arrival in January, suffered an ankle injury in an Under-21 game on Monday and is a doubt for the trip to Griffin Park.

It means O’Leary’s loan at National League Kidderminster may be cut short so he can sit on the bench on Saturday.

The 19-year-old made his first-team debut in an FA Cup third round tie against West Bromwich Albion earlier this season.
