The latest transfer speculation involving Brentford…
Manchester United are among several clubs interested in Brentford striker Ivan Toney, the Sunday Mirror claim.
Toney performed well in the Bees’ first Premier League campaign, increasing speculation that he could move elsewhere.
And the Sunday Mirror declare that he is “attracting serious interest” from clubs, with United said to be “keeping tabs”on his situation.
West Ham, Leeds and Toney’s former club Newcastle are also said to be keen on Toney, whose goals were a major factor in Brentford’s promotion from the Championship.
The newspaper also claims “there is a belief in west London” that at least one bid could be made for Toney before the transfer window closes.
It is also claimed that Leeds boss Jesse Marsch is looking to bring in a striker and that Toney is regarded as a player who could work well alongside Patrick Bamford.
Brentford head coach Thomas Frank has repeatedly insisted that his club is under no pressure to sell players.
