Button completes move from Fulham to Brighton

Fulham have completed the sale of goalkeeper David Button to Brighton for an undisclosed fee.

Button, who has signed a three-year contract with the Seagulls, lost his place in the Fulham side to Marcus Bettinelli last season.

The 29-year-old joined the Whites from Brentford in 2016 and made 60 league appearances for them., with 20 coming last season.

He previously had spells at Charlton and Tottenham and played for England at Under-20 level.

“We’re delighted to bring a goalkeeper of David’s experience to the club,” Brighton manager Chris Hughton told his club’s website.
