Gogia completes Dresden loan move

Brentford midfielder Andy Gogia has joined Dynamo Dresden on a season-long loan.

The 24-year-old signed for the Bees last summer from Hallescher FC and has made 14 appearances for the club.

However, only five of those were from the start, the last of which coming at Derby in October.

Georgian-born Gogia, who has Germany Under-19 caps, started his senior career with Wolfsburg’s second team, before loans at Augsburg and St. Pauli.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Brentford head coach Dean Smith said: “Andy is still our player but we felt it best to send him out on loan so that he can play games.”
