Brentford ask about QPR striker

Brentford have made an enquiry about QPR striker Rob Hulse.

The Bees are looking to sign a target man on loan following top scorer Gary Alexander’s recent move to Crawley Town.

Hulse, 32, is out of the first-team picture at Loftus Road but Rangers manager Mark Hughes is reluctant to allow any of his 25-man squad to go elsewhere.

In November Hulse rejected loan move to Doncaster because his family are settled in the south.

The former Leeds, Sheffield United and Derby forward has made only 13 league starts for QPR since being signed in August 2010.
