Derry seals loan deal for QPR youngster

Notts County have completed the signing of Michael Petrasso on loan from QPR.

West London Sport revealed on Tuesday that Shaun Derry was looking to take Petrasso, 19, to Meadow Lane – 11 months after missing out on the Canadian youngster.

Former R’s midfielder Derry was on the verge of completing a loan deal for Petrasso a week after taking charge of the League One club last year.

The deal stalled and he was loaned to Oldham instead.

But Derry went back in for Petrasso, who has just completed a month’s loan at Leyton Orient and also had a spell with Coventry last season.
