Champion Ouseph goes through to final
Hounslow’s Rajiv Ouseph reached the men’s singles final of the English National Badminton Championships with a hard-fought win over Ben Beckman.
The reigning champion and number one seed hit back after losing the first game to clinch an 18-21 23-21 21-11 victory in Milton Keynes.
Earlier, he beat seventh seed Sam Dobson in a one-sided quarter-final, winning 21-8 21-16.
Ouseph will look to extend his record run of consecutive national title wins to seven when he faces Sam Parsons or Toby Penty in Sunday’s final.
