Redknapp laughs off West Ham rumours

Harry Redknapp says there is little chance of him returning to West Ham and claims he would rather stay at QPR.

Redknapp, a former player and manager at the east London club, has been installed as the favourite to replace under-pressure Hammers boss Sam Allardyce, with some bookmakers offering odds of 1/3.

“I wouldn’t take 33/1,” Redknapp insisted.

“I don’t see that happening. They’ve got a good manager in Sam. I’m very happy to be managing QPR, very happy to be managing such a good club.”

Redknapp, who left West Ham in 2001, was barracked by the home fans at Upton Park when he took QPR there last season.
