Brentford’s Nunes joins Swansea on loan

Gustavo Nunes has joined Swansea City on loan from Brentford for the rest of the season.

The Brazilian winger, 20, was signed from Gremio in a deal worth more than £10m in August 2024.

He has made five substitute appearances for the Bees and has been allowed to join the Swans in order to play regular first-team football.

Swansea head coach Vitor Matos said: “He can play on the left, he can play on the right. [He is] right-footed, but really good with both in terms of first touch and dribble, so we’re really happy that we can have him.

“Now it is about getting the best out of him.”
