Janelt signs new Brentford contract

Brentford midfielder Vitaly Janelt has signed a new deal.

The 27-year-old’s contract was due to expire in the summer but he is now under contract until 2030. The new deal also includes the option of an additional year.

The news was announced by Brentford before the west London derby against Chelsea.

“He’s so important to the way we play, and he’s an influential figure in the dressing room and in the club,” Bees boss Keith Andrews said.
