West Ham v QPR player ratings

QPR bowed out of the FA Cup with an extra-time defeat at West Ham. Here’s how we rated the Rangers players.

Joe Walsh: 7

Struggled to deal with a couple of corners in the first half, but made two brilliant saves from Crysencio Summerville.

Amadou Mbengue: 6

Understandably found it tough to get to grips with the game’s outstanding player, Summerville.

Jimmy Dunne: 6

Arguably could have done better in the build-up to both West Ham goals, but the captain made some heroic blocks throughout the 120-plus minutes.

Steve Cook: 7

Made a series of outstanding clearances in his own penalty area in what was a strong showing.

Rhys Norrington-Davies: 6

Was given a tough assignment up against Jarrod Bowen but acquitted himself in a typically assured fashion.

Kader Dembele: 7

Lost possession cheaply on a couple of occasions but constantly got himself into dangerous positions and produced an excellent cross for Richard Kone’s equaliser.

Isaac Hayden: 7

Put in a real shift in the middle of the park, making a series of important tackles as Rangers started to tire later in the game.

Nicolas Madsen: 7

Another who put in a real effort, playing the entire match. Made some telling tackles and interceptions.

Koki Saito: 6

A couple of bright moments in attack before being replaced early on because of an injury.

Richard Kone: 7

Had the big moment, scoring off his shoulder from Dembele’s cross. Put himself about but never really threatened other than the goal.

Rayan Kolli: 7

Put in a real shift up front, helping Rangers get up the pitch, and battled well with the West Ham centre-backs. Couldn’t find the target with a free header from a corner in the first half though.

Paul Smyth: 7

Provided great energy down the left after coming into the game early.

Daniel Bennie: 6

Was a willing runner as Rangers tired.

Sam Field: 5

Struggled after coming on at left-back. Twice carried the ball out of play under little pressure.

Kieran Morgan: 6

Tried to make things happen as Rangers chased an equaliser but a couple of purposeful passes didn’t quite come off.

Kealey Adamson: 6

Helped keep things defensively sound as the team searched for a second equaliser.
