Chilwell is latest Chelsea player to join Strasbourg

Ben Chilwell has signed for Strasbourg.

Chilwell has been given a two-year deal at the French club, which is also owned by Chelsea’s owners Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.

The left-back, who has been out of favour at Stamford Bridge for some time, is the sixth Chelsea player to join Strasbourg this summer.

They have Mike Penders, Kendry Paez and Mamadou Sarr on loan and signed Ishe Samuels-Smith for £6.5m and midfielder Mathis Amougou for £11.5m.
