Transfer gossip: Speculation over futures of Chelsea players
Some of the transfer speculation involving Chelsea in Thursday’s newspapers…
With Ross Barkley having joined Aston Villa on loan from Chelsea, there is speculation that other Blues players could be shipped out.
The Daily Star declare that Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Antonio Rudiger and Marcos Alonso could move elsewhere.
Loftus-Cheek has been overlooked for recent matches, as has Rudiger, who is being linked with Tottenham and West Ham, while Alonso has long been tipped to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.
The Star also claim that N’Golo Kante would be keen on a move to Manchester United if Chelsea decide to sell him.
The Daily Mirror say Chelsea have issued Rudiger with an ultimatum, telling the defender they will only allow him to leave on loan if he signs a one-year contract extension. His current deal runs until 2022.
And The Sun say Chelsea cannot find a club to take Kepa Arrizabalaga on loan and therefore face the prospect of paying the keeper £5m in wages just for him to sit on the bench.

Send Tomorrow n Loftus to loan in West Ham and bring in Declan. Alonso to be sold out of EPL. Pls don’t loan or sell any of kante nor joginho to any rivalry club. Pls leave them. The squad is still young. Rudiger is needed, experience is more than youthfulness. Blues be careful in marketing. Up Blues.
