Chelsea fans on Twitter react to reports Lampard could return

Chelsea fans on Twitter have been reacting to speculation that Blues legend Frank Lampard could return to the club as a replacement for Michael Emenalo.

Emenalo resigned as technical director on Monday and the Daily Express have claimed that Chelsea’s record goalscorer is being considered for the role.

Some fans have suggested the former England midfielder lacks the necessary experience, but many others have said they would love to see Lampard given the job.

Other former Chelsea stars Didier Drogba and Michael Ballack have also been touted as possible candidates, as has ex-Italy talisman Andrea Pirlo.
