Chelsea fans praise ‘warrior’ Ivanovic ahead of possible exit
Chelsea fans on Twitter have been praising Branislav Ivanovic after news emerged of his potential departure from Stamford Bridge.
Zenit St Petersburg have expressed an interest in signing the 32-year-old, who has not been first choice under Antonio Conte and is out of contract this summer.
However, he has been a key player for Chelsea during nine trophy-laden years at the club and Blues supporters were quick to pay tribute.
When Ivanovic does leave, he deserves maximum respect. Best right back in PL history, don't let the last 2 years cloud your judgement.

Ivanovic getting the praise he deserves lovely to see. Always backed him, even the last few tough seasons. Phenomenal player for us

People that don't respect Ivanovic are not to be trusted. The man is a god.

His legs may now have gone but what a warrior Ivanovic was for us. Always turned up in the big games. No hiding for him.

Ivanovic at Chelsea, 9 trophies in 9 years, despite him last season, generally gonna miss him.

Branislav Ivanovic is a Chelsea legend! Unfairly treated by some fans these couple years!

Some though could not look beyond the dips in form Ivanovic suffered last season and felt that, like Oscar and John Mikel Obi, it was time for the Serb to be moved on.
If you guys consider Ivanovic as a Legend then Mikel Obi was a god in our club.

This might be our best ever January transfer window. Oscar off to China now Ivanovic to Russia. 💉💉💉

Conte getting rid of dead wood in the squad. Mikel and Ivanovic arguably legends but not been good enough
