QPR continue to look at defender
Former Bolton defender Alex Finney featured again for QPR’s development side as they came back from two down to beat Coventry 3-2 on Friday afternoon.
Finney, 20, has played in the last three Under-23 matches and is hoping to secure a contract at Rangers.
He has been without a club since his Bolton contract was cancelled by mutual consent in August.
He joined Wanderers from Leyton Orient in 2014 and made three first-team appearances, two of the coming in the league.
After Coventry scored two early goals in the match at Loftus Road, Ebere Eze reduced the deficit and Axel Prohouly equalised.
Eze’s second goal of the match, on 85 minutes, won it for the hosts.
